Globe-trotting forward Carlos Tevez , 29, is an injury doubt heading into Serie A side
Juventus ' midweek match against Turkish champions Galatasaray after the Argentine ace
suffered an ankle injury during The Old Lady's 1-0 triumph over Torino on Sunday.
Tevez's omission from Juve's Champions League line-up could prove costly as he is in a

netting in a cup match, in just a handful of games to date.
A statement on the club's official website
confirmed the player's doubtful inclusion
on
Wednesday, October 2 at the Juventus
Stadium: 'During the first half of Sunday
afternoon’s Serie A encounter with Torino,
Carlos Tevez sustained a lacerated and
contused wound on his right ankle.
'The striker’s condition will continue to be
assessed over the coming hours, but he
remains a serious doubt for Wednesday
night’s Champions League game against Galatasaray.'
Tevez, who remains a high-profile name in England due to his performances at West Ham
United, Manchester United and then Manchester City , posted four photographs on his official
Twitter account
'always win' but that the opposition 'nearly broke my ankle!'
highlighting the extent of the damage caused: He mentioned that Juventus
