Mysterious figures also shows up at Stamford Bridge (Photos)

Mysterious sightings continued to rock football on Sunday as 11 cloaked
figures sat in the famous Shed End at Stamford Bridge for Chelsea’s match
against Manchester City .
On Sunday evening, the 11 men sat motionless throughout the match, but did
celebrate by raising their fists together when Chelsea scored both of their
goals in the 2-1 victory.
The baffling presence caps off a strange week for the sport after Hackney
Marshes in London’s east end and Rio de Janiero’s Sugarloaf Mountain were
both invaded by unexplained balls, including a three-metre football.
At Stamford Bridge, the mysterious men wore white paint on their faces, with
a black triangle painted on their foreheads.
Twitter was awash with speculation about why the men were there. @b4llack
tweeted: “Who were the weird guys in black at Stamford Bridge today?”
Another tweeter made the raised the possibility that the mysterious sightings
are connected. @Peter_NotMorgan said: “The weird-black-robed-martian
looking 11 are gracing Stamford Bridge. Same chaps who were at Allianz
Arena.”
The latest reports from across Europe state that similar men, wearing the same
outfits, were seen at the Allianz Arena in Munich – the home of Bayern
Munich – and
Juventus Stadium in Turin, too.
It is not yet known whether the footballs on Hackney Marshes and the strange
groups of men are linked.
The cryptic words #WINNERTAKESEARTH were printed on the footballs in
Brazil and Hackney – but supernatural experts are unable to explain how the
words are linked to the strange sightings.
What could this be? We managed to capture some video footage of these
obscure sightings during the match on Sunday at Stamford Bridge.
Take a look above and see if you can grasp the meaning of this and why
football has become the target of these seemingly paranormal events.

Four to leave, one to stay? United in contract decisions

An exclusive report from Goal suggests that Manchester United are set to part ways with a number of their experienced players, as manager David Moyes looks to stamp his authority on the struggling Reds. The report states that Moyes will allow Rio Ferdinand , Nemanja Vidic , Patrice Evra and Ryan Giggs to all leave Old Trafford, though the future of Welshman Giggs appears to be more likely to end in staying at United than the other three. Ferdinand , now 34, has been a mainstay at Manchester United since his

Get to know How Ferguson sold Ronaldo

Former Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has
lifted the lid on how he promised Cristiano Ronaldo his
dream move to Real Madrid .
In Alex Ferguson: My Autobiography, which goes on
general sale on Thursday, the Scot tells of how then
Madrid president Ramon Calderon's public overtures riled
him to the extent that he refused to sanction a sale
despite Ronaldo's desire to move to Spain.
Ronaldo would eventually join Madrid for £80
million (€94m) in 2009, which Ferguson
believes was a
statement of intent from re-
instated president Florentino Perez.
The Scot writes: "Madrid paid £80 million in
cash for him, and do you know why? It was a
way for Florentino Perez, their president, to say
to the world, ‘We are Real Madrid, we are the
biggest of the lot'.
"When the possibility of him leaving edged
towards being a probability, I reached a
gentleman’s agreement with him.
"I went to Carlos’s house in Portugal to find
the boy expressing an urge to go to Real Madrid, and told him: 'You can’t go this year, not after
the way Calderon has approached the issue'.
"I said, ‘I know you want to go to Real Madrid. But I’d rather shoot you than sell you to that guy
now. If you perform, don’t mess us about, and someone comes and offers a world record fee, then
we will let you go.’
"I did well to calm him down. I told him that the reason I was refusing to sell him that year was
because of Calderon. I said, ‘If I do that, all my honour’s gone, everything’s gone for me, and I
don’t care if you have to sit in the stands. I know it won’t come to that, but I just have to tell you
I will not let you leave this year'."

WOW! 8 months pregnant Rebekkah leads team to WNBA championship

The Minnesota Lynx swept the Atlanta Dream Thursday night to clinch their second WNBA championship in three years, led by several dominant performances from 31-year-old, eight-months pregnant Rebekkah Brunson. Brunson, a 6-foot, 2-inch tall, 215-pound power forward who recently entered her third trimester, averaged 26 points and 14 rebounds in the series and was by all accounts the Lynx’s biggest threat on both ends of the floor. “Rebekkah was really the difference-maker, there’s no question about that,” said Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve, adding that Brunson’s low-post game has drastically improved since putting on 40 pounds over the past

Roger Federer parts ways with coach

Toward the end of a tough year with zero Grand Slam final appearances, Roger Federer is
splitting with coach Paul Annacone.
Federer, who owns a record 17 Grand Slam titles, announced Saturday on his website that he
will stop working with Annacone after 3 ½ seasons together.
"After numerous conversations culminating at the end of our most recent training block, we felt
like this was the best time and path for both of us," the posting continues.
The move comes only two days after Federer's latest surprising loss in a year filled with them:
He was beaten 6-4, 6-7 (5), 6-3 in the third round of the Shanghai Masters by Gael Monfils, a
former top-10 player now ranked 42nd and recently back from injury.
The defeat hurt the 32-year-old Federer's chances of qualifying for the season-ending ATP
Tour Finals, a tournament that gathers the top eight singles players.

Exclusive! Keshi wary of Ethiopia despite slim Victory

Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi said the team is not overconfident after a 2-1 win in Ethiopia Sunday set up a probable fifth World Cup appearance.
An Emmanuel Emenike brace won the first leg of a play-off, leaving the 'Super Eagles' needing just a draw at home next month to secure a place at the 2014 finals in Brazil.
?We still have to go play Ethiopia at home as if we never played them, and we'll take it from there,? he told reporters after the match in Addis Ababa.
Keshi commended Ethiopia's 'Waliya Antelopes', who fought hard to keep up with the the 'Eagles' in the first half only to tire down the final stretch.

Wenger praises Ozil's performance

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger described Mesut Ozil's first-half performance
as "absolutely amazing" after the German scored his first goal for the club and
inspired them to a commanding 2-0 victory over Napoli in the Champions
League on Tuesday.
Ozil, who joined Arsenal for a club-record transfer fee of £42.5 million from Real Madrid on
transfer deadline day a month ago, opened the scoring after eight minutes and provided the
final touch for Oliver Giroud to score the second seven minutes later.
He was also the creative heart of most of Arsenal's sublime play and his touch, vision and
movement were virtually faultless.
Wenger, whose team have now won 10 successive matches including a penalty shootout
victory over West Bromwich Albion in the League Cup last week, was delighted after his side
brushed aside Napoli in the group match, saying the first-half performance was "the best we
have played here for a long time".
He reserved special praise for Ozil on a night when Arsenal rekindled the class and confidence
of their glory days under Wenger nearly a decade ago.
"He had an outstanding first half, he was absolutely amazing," Wenger said of the German
international.
"He was fantastic and it was good he scored his first goal. When it goes on too long before
you score, it's always on your mind, so he got rid of that.
"He had everything fans want to see from a great player: individual skill, team play, finishing,
final ball," he told reporters.
"I loved him when he played for Real Madrid too, I must say; I thought he was great for Madrid
and we are just lucky to have got him.
"He enjoys playing football, he enjoys playing with his partners. He has integrated very quickly
with the team and it helps that he has come when we are doing well, it makes it easier. Of
course he has given everyone at the club a lift and belief, and belief is a part of the success of
football."
