Man kills child for rituals, another kills child for bed wetting

A father strangled his three month old boy to death for money rituals in a quest for instant wealth and power, while another beat his two-year old girl to death for wetting the bed in Plateau state.

Plateau state police command in its resolve to rid the state of crime and criminal activities have arrested the murder suspects and some other individuals for
various offences ranging from criminal conspiracy to armed robbery and car snatching.

The Plateau State Police Commissioner, Chris Olakpe, while parading the accused persons, explained that they are to be charged for culpable homicide and criminal conspiracy.

However according to the confession of the man who killed his 3 month old baby for rituals, a native doctor requested for the tongue of a baby and the native doctor is now on the run.

The police were able to recover a stolen Sienna space bus that was stolen in Jos and subsequently taken to Mali, Niger Republic and Benin Republic before it was recovered and handed over to the owner.
