Just In !! Arsenal Signs Yaya Sanogo

Premier League giants Arsenal have completed the signing of French youth international striker Yaya Sanogo from Auxerre, with the forward set to link up with his new side following the completion of the 2013 FIFA Under-20 World Cup.
Sanogo, 20, joins as a free-agent from Auxerre, having been with the French club since the age of 14. Having suffered with a series of injuries over the past couple of years, the hope will be that he can get his career back on track in North London.
The Massy born striker, though, joins full of confidence, having scored 10 goals in just 13 appearances for the club in France’s Ligue 2 last campaign. That form has continued at the ongoing youth tournament in Turkey, where he has added two goals in three games to his goal tally.
Arsène Wenger, speaking to the official Arsenal website, said of the forward: “Sanogo is a good young signing for us. He has shown that he has potential with his recent performances for Auxerre and also for the France Under-20 side. We are looking forward to Yaya joining us and continuing his promising development.”
The move is Arsenal’s first of the summer window, with the likes of Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain tipped to follow.
