Nigerian Sprinter Blessing Okagbare just won Gold in the Women's 100m for Nigeria in the Commonwealth Games. She won in a time of 10.85 seconds in a new Games record, making her the second fastest woman of all time in World 100 metres. She beat Jamaica’s Veronica Campbell-Brown, Kerron Stewart and England’s Asha Phillip who came
second, third and fourth respectively.
Blessing becomes the first Nigerian winner of this title since Mary Onyali back in 1994
