The biggest musical concert on the event’s calendar, “Ghana Meets Naija”
returns in its third year, with an even bigger and more exciting
package for music fans in both Ghana and Nigeria.
Over the years, Ghana Meets Naija has been known as the platform for
the biggest artistes in both Ghana and Nigeria to share one stage and
thrill music lovers from both countries.
This year’s edition slated for Saturday 29th June 2013 at the Accra
International Conference Centre is set to feature performances from
Nigeria’s biggest act currently, EME/STARBOY artiste Wizkid with his
string of hit songs including “Back 2 the Matter”, “Song of Life”,
“Baddest Boy” and a host of others.
Also coming in from Nigeria will be the new sensation turning up every
nightclub in Ghana and Nigeria, the enigmatic Burna Boy, with hit
bangers “Like to Party” and
“Burna Boy”. Afro-pop / Afro-beat
superstar, Timaya will also be making his first appearance on a Ghanaian
stage and will be expected to thrill with his numerous hits churned out
over the years including “Bum Bum” which is currently a dance staple.
Acts performing from Ghana include the Dancehall King, Samini who will
surely be performing his hit collabo with Wizkid, “Time Bomb”. Okyeame
Kwame will also thrill with hits such as “Woara” “Faithful” and a host
of others whiles sexy songbird, Raquel will be sure to bring her sublime
feminine effect and hit songs to bare on the night. Ghana’s biggest
acts currently,
R2Bees will also most certainly bring it home with back to back hits
from their long roster. Also performing from Ghana will be Dobble &
Dr Slim, Edem and EL.
In its third year of existence and having been undoubtedly the biggest
musical concert in Ghana over the last two years, this year will be
bigger, even more spectacular and is sure to give music fans an
experience to truly relish.
