Yes, according to the Harry Potter star – it was in fact hours and hours of reality TV, most notably,Keeping Up With The Kardashians that helped to get her in the right mindset for the role.
"I watched a lot of Keeping up with the Kardashians and The Hills, and I tried to understand the psychology of this kind of girl as much as possible
… I didn't want her to be just a parody.”
… I didn't want her to be just a parody.”
Speaking at the Cannes Film Festival, the 23-year-old revealed that she did struggle with getting the voice just right, admitting:

However, it appears that the actress may not be so keen on the idea of reality TV and social media as she went on to claim that she thought these new-fangled technologies took away young people’s innocence.
“I think it’s amazing how self-aware people are becoming as a result of constantly posting images on Facebook and Instagram.
“They’re blissfully unaware their childhoods are being shortened. That period of time when you’re not self-conscious is sped up.”
Oh dear. Better step away from your Twitter, Em.
