PREMIER League star Loic Remy was arrested on Wednesday 15th may, after a woman told police she had been gang-raped at his luxury flat.
The 26-year-old striker, who plays for newly-relegated Queens Park Rangers, was quizzed with two other men in West London.
The arrests came after a woman told cops she was raped after being given a drink in the player’s apartment and then blacking out.
The £80,000-a-week striker was questioned along with two other men aged 23 and 22 on suspicion of gang-rape.
After being quizzed for several hours all three were released on bail.
The woman, 34, said to police that she had expected to see Remy alone at his pad in trendy Chelsea Harbour, West London, after he contacted her.
But when she arrived the other men — one said to be a relative of Remy and one a friend — were there too.
Scotland Yard confirmed three arrests were made after the woman initially made a complaint to Kent Police last week.
She has had a medical examination
by police doctors.
A QPR spokesman said: “The club is aware of the allegations regarding Loic Remy but is unable to comment.”
In France, Remy has been embroiled in claims that he fathered a child with a student.
At one stage cops were called to investigate threats against the star, who insists the child’s dad is another footballer.
