The prestigious event known as Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant is going to take place this evening. The event will take place at the Banquet Hall, Government House, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
In all, 32 contestants will be taking part in the event. As expected, all the contestants have been making all-possible efforts to get the crown. The event will be aired at 7.30 pm
on Silverbird Television.
The event is being organized by Silverbird Group. Earlier, there were 34 contestants but it has happened last week only that two contestants left the MBGN camp. One of the contestants, Miss Ebonyi, left the camp due to personal reasons. The other contestant Miss Gombe was shown doors of the camp by the organizers.
Initially, the pageant was named as Miss Universe Nigeria. But it was later changed as Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria. The event has been contributing to society as well.
Guy Murray Bruce, Vice-President of the Silverbird Group, said they have asked all the contestants to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS. Moreover, they will be walking at an event known as Walk For Life at this weekend. The event is expected to raise awareness among citizens about HIV/AIDS.
