Cell Phone Takes Bullet For Gas Station Clerk | Photo
During a robbery in Winter Garden, Fla., a gunman fires at a gas station clerk, and the
Sprint HTC in the clerk’s shirt pocket takes the blow.
Engineers delight in putting pens in their shirt pockets. For gas station clerks, however,
the location of your cell phone in your shirt pocket could save your life. This seemed to
be the case at a Winter Garden, Fla., Hess gas station, which was subject to a holdup.
As WFTV reports it , a man walked in, demanded the safe be opened, and brandished a
gun. Two clerks tried to open the safe, but failed. The robber took off, but not before
turning and firing at one of the clerks, when the police arrived, one of the clerks
complained of chest pain. A touch of angina? No, a bullet to his HTC.

Man in court for false alarm over disappearance of manhood
The police on Monday arraigned a trader, John Fadeyi, for allegedly raising false alarm
over the disappearance of his manhood in the public.
The accused, 32, who resides at Oja Street in Orile, is facing a two-count charge of assault and
raising false alarm in a Magistrates’ Court in Tinubu, Lagos.
The Police Prosecutor, Sgt. Daniel Ighodalo, told the court that the accused committed the
offence on Oct. 23, at about 1.30 p.m. at Agarawu Street on the Lagos Island.
He said that the accused claimed that the complainant, Princess Ajayi Olabode, had bodily
contact with him, adding that he immediately felt something leaving his body.
“Fadeyi alleged that when the lady hit him, he felt a shock and that when he touched his
private part; he discovered that it had disappeared.
“He raised an alarm and people immediately gathered to plead with the complainant to return
his private part,’’ he added.
Ighodalo said that the complainant claimed that she was beaten up because of the false alarm
which Fadeyi raised.
The prosecutor said that the offence contravened Sections 166 and 171 of the Criminal Law of
Lagos State, 2011.
The accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The Magistrate, Mrs O. M. Ajayi, granted the accused bail in the sum of N40,000 bail with one
surety in like sum.
She later adjourned the case to Nov. 4. (NAN)

Unbeliebable: Man pays $100k for plastic surgery to look like Justin Bieber
hero - teenaged pop idol Justin Bieber.
Toby Sheldon is a songwriter from Los Angeles who has used Bieber's youthful features as the
inspiration for numerous surgeries, including face fillers, a chin reduction and eyelid surgery.
Sheldon's obsession with his appearance began when he started having treatments to prevent
his hair thinning at the age of 23, but really took off when a pre-pubescent Justin Bieber hit
the big-time in 2008.
Sheldon, along with hordes of preteen girls, became
enamored of the pop star.
'Once Justin shot to fame his face was everywhere and I all I kept thinking when I saw his
picture was, "I want to look like him,"' Sheldon says.
Sheldon had already spent $8,000 on hair transplants to supplement his thinning blond locks,
but he wasn't happy with the results.
He took a picture of Bieber to his plastic surgeon to demonstrate exactly how he wanted his
hair to look.
'It took three transplants and a total of $21,000 to accurately lower my hair line, close off my
temples and grow back my bangs,' he says.
Once he had perfected his Bieber-style hair, Sheldon, who admits to a phobia of aging,
decided he wasn't finished.
'By using Justin’s charming baby face as my inspiration, I’ve been able to restructure my
entire look to maintain a much more youthful appearance through plastic surgery.'
Sheldon says he admires Bieber for his youthful good looks, if not his musical output.
'I didn’t necessarily listen to his music or fawn over him as a celebrity, but his face was just
so flawless every change I made was modeled after him.'
In this quest, Sheldon has remodeled his features so that he bears little resemblance to the
fair-haired, pleasant-featured man he was before his surgeries.
After his successful hair refurbishment, Sheldon had his face and lips plumped up with filler to
look more youthful.
Next, he had Botox and Aquamid injections in his forehead and temples.
In 2012, he spent $4,850 on eye surgery to lift his upper eyelids.
'But it took going to eight different surgeons before anyone would agree to operate on me as
everyone thought I was crazy to be obsessing over such a tiny detail,' he says.
His most recent procedure, a three-part smile surgery, has literally turned his frown upside
down in an effort to emulate his 19-year-old idol’s boyish smile.
Popular in South Korea, smile surgery has doubled in the U.S. in the past year.
'When I first sought out to look like Justin I only paid attention to specific aspects of his
boyish look like his hair and the structure of his face,' says Sheldon.
'But the more I started studying Justin and young people in general it’s really their smile that
gives them their youthful glow. If you look closely, you’ll notice that when younger people
just barely have their mouths open they naturally show their top teeth, giving them a sort of
natural and effortless smile.'
For $30,000 Sheldon's Beverly Hills plastic surgeon lifted his upper lip, turned out his bottom
lip and turned up the corners of his mouth to give him a 'perma-smile.'
He also had liposuction on his chin to smooth out his smile and had the fat from his chin
transferred to his hands, lips and under his eyes.
Even after a total of $100,000 worth of plastic surgery to look like his baby-faced idol, Toby
says he still hasn’t achieved his dream look.
'I know there is more work to be done in order to make a full transformation into Justin
Bieber’s doppelganger like a nose job and jaw reduction, which my surgeon has suggested.'
Sheldon proudly relates a story about being turned away from a liquor store recently because
the staff didn't believe he is 33.
Although Sheldon's similarity to his teen idol isn't immediately obvious even after spending
$100,000 worth of surgical procedures, he says he does get mistaken for Bieber.
'Between our similar hairstyles, baby faced smile and overall youthful appearance I finally look
like Justin Bieber and I couldn’t be happier about it,' he says.

Facebook founder Zuckerberg spends $30 million protecting his privacy
neighbors want to talk about the fact that he's just bought four more houses on their street.
The Facebook founder worth close to $20 billion has been buying up the four homes not to
tear them down, but to take their backyards for his own, and to use the houses as a buffer.
Zuckerberg has no plans to build a McMansion on the four additional properties adjacent to
the home he already lives in with his wife, physician Priscilla Chan. The Zuckerberg's plan is
to lease back the existing homes to the families that already live there. Those families got
extremely lucky: they made multimillion-dollar sales, get to live in their existing homes and all
they did was give up their backyards and title.
Zuckerberg paid way over market rates, in fact one of his neighbors who
only spoke to us on
condition of anonymity, said he paid over $14 million for a house that would not have gone for
more than $4 million before he came to town. The $14 million home on Hamilton Avenue is a
2,600 square foot home on .39 acres, which is actually a lot of land in this tony Valley enclave.
Then there is the 3,200 square foot house directly behind Zuckerberg's Edgewood Drive home
also on Hamilton Avenue. It went for a paltry $4.8 million in December 2012, according to
public records.
Then a third house he bought next door on Edgewood Drive went for $10.5 million. And the
fourth home on the other side of his main house on Edgewood Drive sold earlier this week for
an undisclosed amount.
All told Zuckerberg paid more than $30 million for the four homes adjacent to his main
property. While it's no surprise he overpaid for the adjacent properties, one neighbor said "he
doesn't care, it's a drop in the bucket for him."
She added that Zuckerberg's arrival to the
Crescent neighborhood of Palo Alto is
driving up prices for sellers and making it
completely unaffordable for other buyers to
purchase properties in the neighborhood.
Zuckerberg used the tactic of forming a
shell corporation to hide his identity when
he purchased his main house, the $7
million house on 1456 Edgewood Drive in
2011. And since then, Zuckerberg has been
negotiating with his neighbors and they
have been holding out in an effort to get
higher prices.
Donald Van de Mark, a prominent Northern California real estate agent and former CNBC
anchor, said Zuckerberg, Google's Larry Page and Yahoo's Marissa Mayer are part of a tech
cadre that are "outliers that completely skew the market." He went on to say that the success
of Facebook, Google, Yahoo and other tech companies in Silicon Valley, San Francisco and
elsewhere in the Bay Area are creating levels of wealth never seen before on such a scale.
"These are very affluent people, they can pay anything they want," said Ken DeLeon, owner
and founder of DeLeon Real Estate . DeLeon was named the number one real estate agent in
the entire United States by The Wall Street Journal last year.
DeLeon said he sold more than $250 million in real estate in the Palo Alto area in 2012, and is
on track to sell more than $300 million this year. At 3 percent commission, Ken DeLeon has
made close to $16 million in 21 months selling real estate in Palo Alto. That's close to the
salary of a top-tier baseball, football or basketball free agent!
DeLeon said what is going on in Silicon Valley is unlike anything anywhere in the country, or
frankly, recorded human history.
"People in this category don't care about $100,000, or even million extra dollars, that's really
nothing, they just want their privacy and their peace," DeLeon added.
"Billions are being created here, and really, the Valley has never been stronger. So if a
billionaire wants that property, you can just tell your client, who's not a billionaire, you're not
going to get it," said DeLeon, and that just drives the asking price higher.

Bizarre! Meet the Rich maniac who Allegedly made bombs for Guitarist
Well this is nuts ... a wealthy Connecticut man (who allegedly stocked hundreds of guns in
his million-dollar mansion) was arrested after telling police he was building a bomb ... for
Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards. It's actually hilarious ... law enforcement sources tell
us, 69-year-old Joseph Callahan called police last week, claiming someone had broken into
his home. When police searched the place, we're told they found a terrifying arsenal of guns
and explosives, including roughly 100 pounds of ammonium nitrate (the same chemical used
in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing). Short story: Callahan called the cops on
himself.Callahan told police he planned to give the bomb to Keith Richards, but had no
intention of harming him.Callahan was taken into custody and placed on a 72-hour
psychiatric hold. He has been charged with 112 counts of illegal possession of explosives,
reckless endangerment, and manufacture of bombs (which Callahan called a hobby). But
here's the scary part ... his lawyer tells us, Callahan was mentally unstable at the time of his
arrest, but has since stabilized and been released from custody on his own recognizance. It's
a miracle! Callahan admitted to police he'd been taking meds, so we can't say if the meds
played a role in stabilizing him ... but we do know he's in therapy.

Chinese man has new nose grown on his forehead after losing his nose in a car crash
A 22 year old Chinese man named Xiaolian has had a new nose grown on his forehead after
loosing his original nose in a car accident. Xiaolian had the treatment to create a replacement
for his original nose which was infected and deformed following the accident in 2012. He
actually left his damaged nose unattended to after the accident which led to the infection and
eventual deformity, leaving the surgeons unable to repair it.
Surgeons in China were left with no option than to create another nose for the man to breathe
properly and then transplant it to the original place. The nose was created by placing a skin
tissue expander onto Xiaolian’s forehead. This was cut into the shape of a nose and was
supported by cartilage taken from the man’s ribs.
Surgeons say that the nose has developed well and that the transplant surgery will be carried
out soon.
