Supercars owned by son of the President of Equitorial Guinea

Equatorial Guinea President Obiang Nguema Mbasogo has ruled the oil-rich country for 32 years, and has garnered a record of enriching himself and his family while fatal poverty keeps the life expectancy of his nation's residents at 50 years. A number of courts around the world have launched corruption probes into Obiang and his oldest son Teodorin Obiang, famed for ordering a $320 million yacht and living in one of Malibu's largest homes.P

Which brings us to this streetside scene in Paris captured by photographer alexsmolik, where police gently loaded their bon-bons onto trucks. Among the captured vehicles: a Ferrari Enzo and 599 GTO, two Bugatti Veyrons (including one red chrome GrandSport), an Aston Martin One-77 and a V8 V600 LeMans, a Maserati MC12, a Porsche Carrera GT and a Rolls-Royce, with a few more thrown in.

Teodorin still has a few dozen vehicles in Malibu and elsewhere around the world, so this won't be too much of an inconvenience. All this does raise one small question: How many of these models would even exist If it weren't for the world's despots?
