No matter where you’re at or who you’re with, we’re betting that you’re scanning the area for ladies. Maybe you’re just looking to look because women are probably the greatest things to stare at, or maybe you’re searching for a possible hook-up. Then again, you could be a hopeless romantic and are actually on a quest to find your dream girl.
Let’s be honest, we live in a complicated world with a lot of women. So, finding the so-called “one” can seem like a daunting and impossible task, but don’t lose all hope. See, we’re kind of sappy ourselves and believe that you can find your dream girl. You just need to know where to look.
Through Online Dating Sites
Despite some of the arguments against dating websites like Match.com, there’s no denying that this is the current state of dating. While there are cons to trying to meet your soul mate online, there’s also a lot of pros. One of which is being able to look through the profiles of hundreds, maybe even thousands, of women in a relatively short time. Sure, that sounds like a lot, but you can chat with numerous women until you find one that you seem to gel with.
Once you break the ice and have a couple of online conversations, you can arrange for a casual meeting, like at a coffee shop. If she turns out to be a bust, it will just cost you a little bit of time and a couple of cups of joe. Then, you can jump back online and continue your quest.

On a Plane
Then again, if you prefer to do things in person, one of the best ways to meet a lady is while on a plane. Whether you’re traveling for business or pleasure, flying can be stressful, boring, and is usually one of people’s least favorite experiences. So any distraction from the troubles of traveling is more than welcome. And, if you manage to keep her interest, you’ll be able to keep in contact after you arrive at your destination.
While most guys are just looking for women to score with, the same strategies can be used for a quick hook-up or for something more long-term. AskMen suggests that you pick out an aisle seat for mobility, scope out your fellow passengers, settle on your target, and find an excuse to strike up a conversation. For example, you could go to the bathroom when she does and start talking about your travels.

Through Friends
One of the oldest and most common ways to meet someone is through mutual friends. Sometimes these sorts of blind dates end horribly, but there are times that these kind of arranged meetings turn into something that is actually meaningful.
If you want to go this route just make sure that you’re open to the meeting, that you’re not a total jerk, and that you make the best out of the situation. Now, if you’re someone that doesn’t have a lot of friends, or friends that have single friends, then maybe you should get out more and start meeting some new people. You could even make some new female friends that will hook you up with their friends, or least pretend to be arm candy to make you a hot commodity.

At a Bar
Meeting your one and only at a bar or nightclub can be tricky. For one, there’s that consumption of alcohol that tends to throw out people’s inhibitions. Then again, maybe the alcohol can be used to your advantage because it will loosen you up so you can relax and have a good time. But, the biggest perk about going out to a bar or nightclub that isn’t the local dive bar is that there are a lot of women there. And they may be searching for someone, as well.
You’ll hear a lot of ways of how to pick up women at bars, but some of the best, and honest, advice we’ve heard comes from AskMen. Basically, just remember not to be a total jackass, get her contact info quickly, network, and be cool. You’re not there to impress everyone, just the girl you have your sights on.

In a Starbucks
If the bar scene isn’t working, or just not to your liking, then you could always head out to a coffee shop, like Starbucks (since there’s one in every town).
Maybe you head into a coffee shop before or after work or possibly during lunch. While waiting for your drink or food, strike up a conversation with a woman. If there’s no one to talk to while in line, then try to sit with a woman who is alone. Simply ask if she minds if you sit with her because you don’t like sitting alone. If you’re stuck on how to break the ice, just remember where you’re at: a coffee shop. So, coffee would be a no-brainer for a conversation starter.
