Sacrilege: MAN HIDES MOTHER’S CORPSE IN HIS HOUSE FOR 10 YEARS
A 62 year old retired vice-principal has been arrested by the Imo state police for allegedly killing his mother and hiding her corpse in his house since 2003. Dr. Chimezie Osuigwe was arrested after the embalmed body of his mother was discovered hidden in a cupboard in his house yesterday Monday April 14th by another family member. Police say the body of the woman, Lucy Osuigwe, who was declared missing in 2003, ‘was found in a large cupboard inside a shrine in a private room in a circumstance depicting ritual practice.’ The police believe the retired educationist and devotee of the Guru Maharaji sect, killed his mother for ritual purposes. Dr. Chimezie Osuigwe is being held for first degree murder
