2 cars containing 6bodies that sank a decade apart are found in a lake after 40 years

2 cars containing 6bodies that sank a decade apart are found in a lake after 40 years They had lain undiscovered under an Oklahoma lake for fifty years. And now the discovery of two rusting vintage cars containing five bodies has reignited the mystery of how three teenagers and one man and his friends vanished more than four decades ago. One of the cases is believed to be connected to the disappearance of Jimmy Allen Williams (top right), Thomas Michael Rios, (top left), and Leah Gail Johnson, (bottom right), all went missing after going for a drive in Jimmy's blue 1969 Camaro on November 20, 1970. Dive teams were at Foss Lake conducting training with sonar when they came upon the vehicles last week. They went back and did a

Is your relationship costing you too much? by Jennifers Signature

Have you ever blamed yourself for giving too much in a relationship? If you have, you’ve probably felt resentment for not getting back what you feel is owed for all your effort. On top of that, if the man you gave so much to has moved on to someone else, it feels like that woman is now getting the benefits that should have gone to you. Thinking about how you gave so much can keep you awake at night, as you beat yourself up for being so foolish. But a better use of that time would be to ask yourself why you let yourself give so much and get so little in return? What drove you to settle for crumbs when you were feeding him the whole cake? The answer is simple. You were in a “pay as you go” relationship. How does that happen? Most likely things started out strong and it seemed like he really cared. But most relationships (unless you’re with “the one”) start to fizzle and burn out and that’s when we women panic. We start to feel that it’s up to us to

Gunman kills 12 and injures 15 at Washinton Navy Yard rampage

The deadly attack at the Washington Navy Yard was carried out by one of the military's own: a defense contract employee and former Navy reservist who used a valid pass to get onto the installation and started firing inside a building, killing 12 people before he was slain in a gun battle with police. The motive for the mass shooting — the deadliest on a military installation in the U.S. since the tragedy at Fort Hood, Texas, in 2009 —remains a mystery, investigators said. But a profile of the lone gunman, a 34-year-old Aaron Alexis, was coming into focus. He was described as a Buddhist who had also had flares of rage, complained about the Navy and being a victim of discrimination and had several run-ins with law

Magnets proves homosexuality is unnatural- Read more

Staff of the University of Lagos have lauded the work of one of their postgraduate students, Chibuihem Amalaha, for an experiment in which he claimed observations of magnets provided proof that homosexuality is unnatural.  Mr Amalaha claimed that as the poles of magnets repel those of the same type, this “means that man cannot attract another man because they are the same, and a woman should not attract a woman because they are the same. That is how I used physics to prove gay marriage wrong”.  Nigerian news website This Day Live reported on the experiment:  “A University of Lagos post graduate student,

Ladies: 7 things ruining your beautiful skin

1. NOT TAKING OFF YOUR MAKEUP This is the number one of seven bad habits that are damaging your skin, and I think you all know why. My grandmother always told me to take off my eye makeup as it causes wrinkles and infections, and I never used to listen, until now. I now realize this is so important ladies, as wrinkles around your eyes are the number one thing we do not want.

2. CHEWING GUM Weird right? We rely on gum to take away our nasty breath after that garlic lunch, but some experts actually say that it can be doing your skin damage. The idea behind this theory is that since the muscles in

Nutrition Desk: 9 food combinations to make you lean and fit

After brewing yourself a cup of green tea, squeeze in the juice of one whole lemon. 1. Eggs and Mango Gives you: Firm skin There’s no need to apply several products to get good, firm skin. Just eat some eggs and mango, especially now that the fruit is in season. Eggs are naturally rich in amino acids that are essential for formation of skin-plumping collagen. And mango, which is rich in Vitamin C, works with these acids to boost collagen production. This helps build back lost stores in the body, which can significantly improve the appearance of skin. Do it right: To give a boost to your next breakfast, pair an omelette with a cup of fresh mango chunks, which supply nearly an entire day’s supply of Vitamin C. 2. Red Bell Peppers and Black Beans Gives you: Better Immunity They look good at the veggie market and are expensive. But here’s a good reason to buy them. You’ll absorb more immune-boosting plant iron by adding in some red bell peppers on your plate. Iron in black beans is hard for the
