Man collapses after been told woman he raped is HIV positive

A man who has been jailed for rap*ing a woman has been told that he could have contracted
HIV as a result of the attack he inflicted upon his victim.
Richard Thomas, 27, collapsed when police informed him about the woman's medical status
and is still waiting to hear if he has contracted the incurable virus.
Thomas, of Leigh in Greater Manchester, knew the woman and was aware that she has another
illness but had not known about the HIV.

In a matter of weeks, possibly this month, BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) will be available for
download on Android phones and Apple’s iPhone. Already, Samsung has been reported to be
running adverts to spread this news. Readers of BlackBerry blog CrackBerry reported seeing TV
ads in a few different African countries during the last Manchester United vs. Chelsea match.
The advert briefly appeared on Samsung Ghana’s YouTube account before being taken down.
