Sprint HTC in the clerk’s shirt pocket takes the blow.
Engineers delight in putting pens in their shirt pockets. For gas station clerks, however,
the location of your cell phone in your shirt pocket could save your life. This seemed to
be the case at a Winter Garden, Fla., Hess gas station, which was subject to a holdup.
As WFTV reports it , a man walked in, demanded the safe be opened, and brandished a
gun. Two clerks tried to open the safe, but failed. The robber took off, but not before
turning and firing at one of the clerks, when the police arrived, one of the clerks
complained of chest pain. A touch of angina? No, a bullet to his HTC.

A man identified as Chinweoru Ugbo, 32, was weekend arrested by the Onueke

Nwite, 78, with an axe.
The crime was allegedly committed at Nsokkara Community in Ezza South Local Government
Area of the state over claims that the deceased was diabolically manipulating Ugbo’s destiny.
The suspect allegedly lured his victim to a lonely farmland near a neighbouring community in
Amagu, under the guise of showing him (the victim) a piece of land he wanted to purchase.
He reportedly inflicted 27 cuts on late Mr. Nwite in the early hours of Saturday, unaware that
some people saw him.
Vanguard gathered that the suspect was caught by the villagers at Igweledoha Nsokkara
community, when he was packing his luggage to flee the community.
It was also learnt that the suspect, a trader resident at Owerri in Imo State, was said to have
returned home on Friday night with the intention of killing his uncle.
Eyewitnesses’ story
An eyewitness, Nweke Nwankwo, alleged that the act took place in a vegetable farmland.
The witness said: “I was on top of a palm tree harvesting fruits and saw both of them
conversing. I never suspected anything because they were relatives.
“But I felt cold to the spine when the boy started brutalising the old man, who recently
returned from the hospital after an eye surgery.”
Another witness, a woman who spoke on condition of anonymity, stated that she was weeding
in her farm, some distance from the scene, when she heard a cry.
She said: “I did not know that an abomination was being committed because the loud shout
was just once.
“I continued with my job until passers-by, who first sighted the dead body, raised alarm.”
It was learnt that a white T-shirt, which an eyewitness claimed the suspect wore that morning,
was brought out from his room with blood stains.

contact with him, adding that he immediately felt something leaving his body.

“He raised an alarm and people immediately gathered to plead with the complainant to return
his private part,’’ he added.

A 2-year-old girl is dead after accidentally shooting herself with a
handgun inside a North Carolina home, according to multiple reports.
Police said the girl, who was nicknamed "Coco," found a loaded handgun
and that it discharged, local NBC affiliate WNCN-TV reported. She was at
the home with her aunt and grandmother at the time.
When officers found the girl, whose name is not being released, she
wasn't breathing. She was immediately brought to the Cape Fear Medical
Center where she was pronounced dead, the local outlet reported.
"She would always come to to the fence line and play with my dog,"
neighbor Byron Brown told WRAL-TV. "To lose a 2-year-old baby who
hasn't even lived yet...is horrific," he said.
Another neighbor, Felicia Brown, told WNCN-TV there have been "too
many shootings" in the neighborhood recently and that she plans to
move away.
Police ruled the death an accident, but say the investigation is ongoing.
While there have been no charges filed yet, authorities say that will
likely change.
